Cellumax Homatherm is a completely new and highly flexible insulation material. Flexibility not only means elasticity and ease of application but Cellumax  Homatherm is also highly adaptable and is suitable for unskilled or DIY installation.

Just thermal insulation - added benefits
In low or zero energy houses,construction systems are closely followed by thermal insulation in order of importance.The thermal conductivity of Cellumax Homatherm is a low 0.040W/mK, thereby placing it at the forefront among ecological insulating materials. As with all HOMATHERM insulation systems, Cellumax Homatherm offers much more than merely low energy costs . With Cellumax Homatherm comfort levels are enhanced - 365 days a year!

It has to be cellulose
Nothing and no-one is as inventive and flexible as mother nature. Where mineral insulation materials or manmade products merely insulate,cellulose offers a wide variety of benefits for the architect, contractor,developer and homeowner in equal parts. The natural properties of cellulose remain stable,even when in the form of Cellumax Homatherm insulation panels. The natural absorption properties of the cellulose ensures that the moisture content of the insulation always adjusts to suit the surroundings. Component parts therefore receive long-term protection from moisture. The excellent heat-retaining capacity improves heat protection in summer with even loft spaces remaining cooler for longer.

Is fitting a difficulty? -No problem!
A level of structural integrity coupled with high flexibility-those are cha-racteristics that make construction easier and the same goes for Cellumax Homatherm panels. A high tech binding fiber links the recycled cellulose flakes to create an insulation panel with a completely new consistency. High elasticity ensures that Cellumax Homatherm panels can be compacted by one third in a short space of time,before retaining its original volume almost completely. This enables oversized sheets to be pressed between beams or supports. Even asymmetrical, voids present no fitting problems with Cellumax Homathermpanels.


Clean performance

Cutting these cellulose panels is as simple as fitting them. Whether with insulation cutter or hand saw the result is always cleanly cut, smooth edges that do not tear.

Dust creation is minimal and fitting is simple.

Cellumax Homatherm has a stable material structure, it does not fracture under its own weight and can therefore be fitted by just one operative, even with sheets of 160mm thickness.
